And on this weekend I finally got to it. An IT guy replaced the hard drive, properly cleaned my Ps and replaced the thermal paste. At first it seemed all my problems were gone, ps was a lot faster and it didnt overheat.
But after 4 hours it crashed. The next day it crashed after 2hours, then again after 30min and then after 15min. So even though the hard drive was replaced the problem persists. Anyway, the source of problem apparently seems in the storage device. The CPU cannot properly read data from the hard drive. Either because the hard drive itself is malfunctioning, or the CPU is declining. Then install it into your PS4 again, and see if it works fine or not.
Im pretty sure the IT guy already did the full format on the new hard drive before installing because it was a slightly used drive, also my original one was on the verge of death when he checked it so it was better to switch it into a new one. You only need to have Windows 10 Disc. As for upgrading to a larger RAM size, I am not sure about your laptop. Does it make it easy to upgrade RAM or not? Mine is Dell Latitude, and there is a special area on its bottom that I only need to remove its cover to reveal the RAM chips and pull them out.

I called up Sony support and they advised me to do the software initialization via the safe mode. That went well and the system rebooted. However, the system still runs very slow with literally nothing on it after the OS installation. However, while navigating the menu, the system froze again and I had to reboot the console.
Also, the download happened at a very slow speed. When I test the connection, it gives me a speed of mbps but the actual download is happening at just 6mbps. Also, the download seems to stop for a few seconds for some reason. I mostly do digital downloads and never had this issue before. My console is still running very slow even though it has nothing on it.

The PS3 store is a mess. I tried loading it yesterday after I heard the news and the purchase button never appeared on any listing. It loads incredibly slow but I was able to purchase the Suikoden series without issue. It is definitely not a good experience though.

Them saying it was a PS5 benefit was sort of just marketing speak. Unless they went in and added a special license that causes it to only work on PS5 and I doubt they did that.
Food for thought! They actually did say from the beginning that the Plus Collection will only be available to PS5 owners who subscribe to plus. The games will not be available as a collection on PS4. You can go back and look at the wording on the original post or rewatch that part of the PS5 event from September. I would not get my hopes up for them coming to PS4.
They also said it will be a curated collection which implies that they may add to or change the games in the collection. Sony did post an article saying that the 3D audio will work with your current setup, without the headphones, in a future PS5 update, after release. I also got the new 3D headphones myself, but will be cool to experience similar sounds through my already own sound bars, etc. All the ps4 games that have been digitally purchased in our library, when we log in with our PSN account on the ps5, will they be displayed there and available to play?
You may want to look into the reason why the PS5 launch has been delayed in India, before you start blaming Sony…. You should really go to Delhi and beat up the guy who is contesting ownership of the PS5 trademark. If he drops the contest, Sony will earn the trademark and be able to sell the PS5 in India.
